As fiscal sponsor for GBENN. greenUP! has played a significant role in the organization’s growth. Since GBENN’s launch in 2013, greenUP! has helped facilitate national GBENN educational Summits in 2016 (St. Louis, MO), 2018 (Chicago, IL), 2021 (Longmont, CO), and the 2021 virtual summit.

Towards the end of 2015, the GBENN leadership team (including greenUP!) embarked on a journey to formalize the organizations’ structure and build a strategic path to grow the reach and impact of the Network. The goal is to have green business programs running in all 50 states. Today, there are more than 20 GBENN members across 12 states.

The GBENN organization continues to build momentum with its monthly member calls, sharing of best practices among its green business program members and work groups that contribute to national climate change action.
